Theme 1 Focus on rules broken versus focus on people harmed Focus on ‘offender’ versus a focus on the community (26:24)
Theme 2 Justice focuses on establishment of guilt & innocence versus Justice focuses on responsibility of needs and obligations of all involved (23:19)
Theme 3 Behaviour is a matter of a child’s will versus a child’s skills (The brain as a house) Challenging behavior is used to get things (e.g., attention) or to escape and avoid things (e.g., work, responsibility) (26:26)
